2018 XSEDE Highlights

The Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) is excited to release the 2018 XSEDE Highlights Book, which showcases 13 different stories of scientific breakthroughs made possible through access to XSEDE-allocated resources, services, and assistance.

This edition is dedicated to the Campus Champions Program in celebration of their 10-year anniversary. Thanks to funding from XSEDE and the National Science Foundation, the Campus Champions Program has grown to over 500 members at 267 institutions across the United States over the last 10 years to help the nation's colleges, universities and research institutions make the most of their computing and data-intensive resources. Watch this video to learn more about how they're working together to help advance scientific discovery and scholarly achievement.

"Each year the annual Highlights book presents an impressive array of science accomplishments that have been supported, in part, by XSEDE and the resources and services it makes available to the community. This year is no exception! This sixth edition provides a snapshot of key research funded in part by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and supported by XSEDE in areas such as genomics, artificial intelligence, drug design, environmental conservation efforts and so much more," said the XSEDE Principal Investigator and Project Director, John Towns;
