To/from Dublin Airport
AirCoach operates a 24-hour coach service from Dublin Airport to the Royal Marine Hotel. Take the Killiney/Dalkey line to the stop at the front entrance of the hotel. Adult single/return fares are €8/€14 (approx. $11-19 US), respectively. Journey time is approximately 40-50 minutes. See full timetable.
Taxis are also available to/from the airport. They cost upwards of €40 (Approx. $53 US), depending on the route taken. There is a notable surcharge during 4-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, for using the Dublin Port Tunnel, which reduces the journey time during rush-hour traffic but adds €10 (approx. $13 US) to the standard taxi fare; at other times the tunnel surchage is €3 (approx. $4 US). Please consult with the driver before your journey.
The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from the Dun Laoghaire DART train station, which has a regular service every 10-15 minutes to Dublin's city center (Tara Street station). The 46A bus also operates between Dun Laoghaire and downtown Dublin. See the Dublin Bus site for details.
