XSEDE13: Gateway to Discovery
XSEDE, the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment, is a National Science Foundation-supported project that brings together supercomputers, data collections, and computational tools and services to support science and engineering research and education. The annual XSEDE conference focuses on the science, education, outreach, software, and technology used by the XSEDE and other related communities worldwide.
Hundreds of researchers, technology experts, educators, and students from around the globe will come together in San Diego for XSEDE13, July 22-25. This year's conference will feature:
Tutorials • Keynotes • Lightning Talks
Student Presentations of Papers and Posters
Visualization Showcase • Extensive Job Fair
Biosciences Day • Focus on scientific gateways
Science, Technology, & Education/Outreach Tracks
"The XSEDE13 conference will place a spotlight on the broad impact of Science Gateways to facilitate discoveries across a broad range of disciplines. Our technical, science and TEOS tracks will provide a broad range of studies and advances for our community, but this year we'll also offer a round of "lightning talks" to engage attendees in the discussion. The conference will devote a half day to the biosciences, with invited speakers, panelists, and paper presentations offering the latest discoveries in this high-profile arena. And a job fair will allow attendees -- especially students -- to discover new careers. We look forward to seeing you in San Diego."
