NICS Spring Training: Programming the new Intel Xeon Phi

Join us as computational scientists from the National Institute for Computational Sciences take you on a tour and show you how to efffectively program Beacon, the newest open system for scientific computing at NICS and #1 on the Green 500 list.

Experienced programmers will learn how to write or adapt their current MPI and OpenMP codes to the new architecture, and see real examples of codes that have benefited from the introduction of Xeon Phi platform alongside Intel processors they already knew how to utilize.
