Parallel Computing on Stampede – Introductory Topics

This one-day workshop is an introduction to using Stampede and parallel programming. Concepts taught in this workshop will readily transfer to other HPC platforms.

The workshop will consist of lectures and labs conducted by consultants from the Cornell University Center for Advanced Computing (CAC). Lab exercises will be conducted on Stampede. CAC staff will be available during the training session to assist users in their code development efforts. There is no fee to attend.

Prerequisites: It will be helpful to have programming experience in C or Fortran and basic knowledge of using Linux.
