Hi there,

I want to run LAMMPS in trestles, but I don't know how to specify the last line in the script:

#!/bin/bash
#PBS -q normal
#PBS -A
#PBS -l nodes=8:ppn=32
#PBS -l walltime=00:15:00
#PBS -o job_output
#PBS -N test
#PBS -V
cd /home/dtraian

module load lammps
mpirun_rsh -np 256 -hostfile < in.file > output.txt

It gives an error. What is this -hostfile? How to set script properly?
Thanks for any suggestions!

Here is what worked for me:

#!/bin/bash
#PBS -N lammps
#PBS -q normal
#PBS -l nodes=1:ppn=32
#PBS -l walltime=10:00:00

module load lammps

cd $PBS_O_WORKDIR

mpirun_rsh -np 32 -hostfile $PBS_NODEFILE /home/jpg/opt/trestles/lammps/bin/lammps -in dextran.pm

Best,

Subas
